Dubuque has many local providers of mental health and disability services, advocacy, and support groups. Providers can be located through the ECR website or through the HHS website. Here, we provide additional information that you may be interested in, with a focus on advocacy organizations. Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
